Prague Castle is the jewel in the crown for the Czech Republic, and in fact houses the Czech Crown Jewels themselves.  

The fortress is an attractive collection of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings, all displaying different architectural styles – like the Gothic St Vitus Cathedral and Romanesque Basilica of St George.
