6The Dragon’s Cave

The cave has tons of interesting legends to pique a traveler’s interest. The Cave of Dragon was once a gold mine and had a guard in a ferocious dragon who stopped anyone from entering the cave by spewing fire.

It opened to tourists in 2009, and apart from its many mythological stories to tell, there are countless caves and underground lakes to entice people. Location : Dragon’s Cave, Sougaridi, Kastoria 521 00, Greece
