One of the most beautiful things to see on Naxos is the Temple of Apollo. Lygdamis started the construction of the temple in 530 BC, but people never finished it.

Nowadays, you can see the large gate of the temple. People also call it Portara. It’s a very interesting place to go to, as you can learn about mythology. Furthermore, the temple is next to the port of Naxos, so you’ll immediately see it if you travel by ferry.
