7Delphi

At the base of Mount Parnassos, within the crags of the Phaedriades, lies the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi. This area had the most famous oracle of ancient Greece.

It was viewed as the centre of the world in ancient times. Today, it is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with plenty of rich monuments and structures.
