Anemotrypa Caves, also known as the ‘wind hole’ caves, is a cave network in the Epirus Mountains near Pramanta Village.
A few villagers discovered it around 50 years ago while investigating a hole in the village’s outskirts. The discovery had them reeling with surprise as there was a labyrinth of underground lakes and waterfalls. Taking these most exciting tours in Greece, vacationers feel they are taking a trip through time as they gawk at the captivating stalactites and stalagmites and listen to the roar of the river Arakhthos.
