5Day 3: Florence – Art, Architecture & Renaissance Beauty
Travel north to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. The high-speed train journey takes about 1.5 hours, making it an easy and scenic transfer.
Start with a visit to the magnificent Florence Cathedral, with its iconic dome dominating the skyline. Climb to the top for panoramic views over the city.
Continue to the Uffizi Gallery, home to masterpieces by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo. Later, walk across the picturesque Ponte Vecchio, lined with charming shops.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Tuscan meal paired with Chianti wine.
