6Arc de Triomphe – Monument of Victory
Standing proudly at the top of the Champs-Élysées is the Arc de Triomphe. Commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte, it honors those who fought and died for France during the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars.
The monument’s intricate carvings and engraved names of generals make it both a historical record and a national symbol. Beneath it lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, with an eternal flame burning in remembrance.
