3Shanghai Tower – Shanghai, China

The Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in China and a stunning symbol of Shanghai’s modernization.

Designed by Gensler, the tower spirals upwards, representing a “twist” in the city’s skyline. This twisting design reduces wind loads and gives the building its unique aesthetic appeal.

With offices, hotels, cultural venues, and retail spaces, the Shanghai Tower is a vertical city in its own right. Its observation deck is one of the highest in the world, offering incredible views of the city and the famous Huangpu River.
