Cinque Terre’s villages are characterized by their rugged terrain, perched on cliffs overlooking the Ligurian Sea.

While this offers unparalleled scenic views, it also means limited accessibility. The towns are connected by a network of trails, trains, and boats, but not all are easily accessible by car. Be prepared for steep paths, stairs, and narrow streets, making comfortable walking shoes a must.
