4Babà – Campania

Another Neapolitan favorite, babà is a small sponge cake soaked in rum syrup. It’s moist, fragrant, and often served with whipped cream or custard.

Though its origins are believed to be Eastern European, Naples made babà its own. Today, it’s a symbol of the city’s pastry tradition.
