Approximately 12 kilometers (7.4 miles) northwest of Jacmel in Haiti is Bassin-Bleu, one of the best swimming holes in the country.

It includes three blue pools (Bassin Clair, Bassin Bleu, and Bassin Palmiste) linked by waterfalls. Some visitors say Bassin Clair is the most beautiful swimming hole, thanks to its sheltered position.
