Lombardy, home to Milan, offers a diverse selection of wines.

The sparkling Franciacorta is often dubbed “Italy’s Champagne.” Another regional specialty is the Sforzato, a robust red made from dried Nebbiolo grapes. Lombardy is also known for the refreshing white wine, Lugana, produced from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes.
