7Inspiration from Ancient Architecture

Bramante drew inspiration from ancient Roman architecture, particularly the Colosseum, when designing the staircase.  

The use of the double helix structure pays homage to the grandeur of ancient Roman engineering while infusing a Renaissance touch. The staircase stands as a harmonious blend of classical and contemporary design principles.
