3Gladiator (2000)

Two key scenes from the film were filmed in the beautiful Tuscany Val d’Orcia, while others scenes were filmed in England, Morocco, and Malta.

The Tuscany scenes, along with the haunting soundtrack, are set in one of the most picturesque spots in all of all Italy, the peaceful green Orcia Valley is a direct contrast to the noise and bloodlust in Rome. With fields of rolling wheat dotted here and there by stately columnar cypress trees winding the roads leading up to stone farmhouses, Gladiator is worth watching just for the incredible Italy scenery.
