Hidden among the hills of Aragón, Albarracín looks almost too perfect to be real. Its pinkish stone buildings climb the hillside above the Guadalaviar River, creating one of Spain’s most atmospheric medieval towns.
Walking through its narrow streets feels like stepping into another century. Wooden balconies, ancient walls, tiny passages and irregular stairways appear around almost every corner. The surrounding landscape is equally impressive, with forests, cliffs and hiking trails extending beyond the town.
