10Alcázar of Segovia

Perched dramatically on a rocky hill where two rivers meet, the Alcázar of Segovia looks like something straight out of a fairytale.
Its pointed turrets are said to have inspired Walt Disney’s Cinderella Castle. Originally built as a fortress, it later served as a royal palace, prison, and military academy. Inside, the Throne Room and Hall of Kings display intricate Mudejar ceilings and heraldic motifs. Outside, the sweeping views of Segovia and its Roman aqueduct complete the experience.
