10Castle Combe, Wiltshire

Often called “the prettiest village in England,” Castle Combe is tucked into the Cotswolds and looks like a film set.
In fact, it has been used as one for movies such as War Horse and Stardust. Honey-colored stone cottages line winding streets, while the River Bybrook meanders through the village. With no modern signs or streetlights, Castle Combe feels like stepping back into the 14th century.
