Piedmont’s capital often gets overlooked, but it’s a beautiful little jewel of a city and a great starting point for a trip to the vineyards that produce some of Italy’s most prized wines.

While Florence was ruled by the Medicis, Turin had the Savoys, who imbued the city with a bit of a French flair that can still be felt today.
