2Day 2: Art, Culture & Historic Paris
Start your second day in the artistic district of Montmartre, known for its bohemian past and village-like charm.
Climb up to the stunning Sacré-Cœur Basilica, which offers one of the best panoramic views in Paris. Wander through Montmartre’s narrow streets, where artists once lived and worked, including legends like Picasso.
After exploring Montmartre, head back toward central Paris to visit Notre-Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. While restoration work may still be ongoing, the exterior alone is worth the visit.
Nearby, explore the historic Latin Quarter, one of the oldest parts of the city. Its lively atmosphere, filled with bookshops and cafés, offers a glimpse into everyday Parisian life.
In the afternoon, visit the Musée d’Orsay, housed in a former railway station and home to an impressive collection of Impressionist art, including works by Monet, Van Gogh, and Degas.
End your day with dinner in a classic Parisian bistro. Enjoy French specialties like steak frites or onion soup, paired with a glass of wine.
