Another smallest state in Europe and the world is the Vatican City that only contains a total of 110 acres only. It is located in Rome and only consists of more or less 800 citizens, with only 450 persons who are a true resident in the Vatican.
The City is the smallest country not just in Europe but also in the whole wide world.
