4KATAPOLA, AMORGOS

One of the largest natural harbours in the Aegean Sea and the main port of Amorgos, Katapola is built around a sandy beach in the middle of the bay.

There are also remains of an ancient Minoan settlement, reached by a walking trail from the village.
