However, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge sways over a 30-meter drop into the Atlantic Ocean, where rough waves crash against jagged rocks below.
Originally built by salmon fishermen, the bridge has been reinforced over the years, but its isolation and the wild coastal weather make it a challenging crossing for visitors.
