Valencia’s Las Fallas festival, held in March, is a fiery celebration of art, satire, and pyrotechnics. The city comes alive with enormous, elaborate sculptures called ninots, made from wood, cardboard, and papier-mâché. These sculptures often caricature politicians, celebrities, or pop culture figures.
Over several days, parades, fireworks, and parties entertain locals and tourists alike. The grand finale, La Cremà, sees the burning of the ninots, turning the streets into a spectacular blaze of light and fire.
Why go? For a mind-blowing combination of creativity, fire, and electrifying street energy.
