4Las Fallas – Valencia
Valencia’s Las Fallas festival, held in March, is a fiery celebration of art, satire, and pyrotechnics. The city comes alive with enormous, elaborate sculptures called ninots, made from wood, cardboard, and papier-mâché. These sculptures often caricature politicians, celebrities, or pop culture figures.
Over several days, parades, fireworks, and parties entertain locals and tourists alike. The grand finale, La Cremà , sees the burning of the ninots, turning the streets into a spectacular blaze of light and fire.
Why go? For a mind-blowing combination of creativity, fire, and electrifying street energy.
