Spain isn’t sunny all year, everywhere. Tourists often assume the entire country has Mediterranean weather, but northern Spain can be rainy, and summers in Andalusia can be unbearably hot.

Tip: Check the climate of the specific region you’re visiting. Pack accordingly, whether that means sunscreen and water bottles for Seville in August or a rain jacket for Bilbao in spring.
