4A train goes around Mount Etna

Tourists would be delighted to know that there is a train available to go up Mount Etna, if the climb up is too daunting. It makes a 68- mile circuit around Mount Etna between Catania and Riposto, around both sides.

The trip on the Circumetnea Railway takes about three hours with amazing views of the craters and lush farmland and lava fields around the mountain.
