Part of the Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore is the largest and most easterly of the five villages.

Sitting upon the unspoilt blue waters of the Gulf of Genoa, the spot is famed for the sweet wine Sciacchetrà, made from Bosco, Vermentino and Albarola grapes.
