Mediaeval towns, olive groves and vineyards are dotted all around the region of Abruzzo, and yet this villa looks straight out of 1960s Hollywood. The vision is courtesy of owner Davide, who channelled his love of architecture and LA mid-century design into this three bedroom villa he has nicknamed “Little California.”
Set across two split levels, the lush surroundings are centre stage via floor-to-ceiling windows within the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, as well as a perfectly placed infinity pool. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to be in keeping with the home’s aesthetic, from the sputnik chandeliers in the lounge to the peacock chairs in the bedrooms.
