Sykia is nestled in the southern-western part of Milos and is an Emerald or Blue Cave.
Tourists can access the cave only by boat through its natural arch. One can only access part of the cave as most of the cave has collapsed. The best time to visit the cave is at sunset; that’s when the turquoise watercolor is reflected on the cave walls and shines like an emerald, hence the name Emerald Cave. The star attraction of the cave is a tiny beach inside the cave. A slice of the brilliant blue sky is visible from the cave, with no ceiling. Location : Sykia Cave 848 00, Greece
