World famous for its international court The Hague is also famous for its incredible collection of the painter “Piet Mondrian”. Precursor of an artistic movement “De Stijl”, Mondrian is one of the most important European painters. The largest collection of Mondrian works of art can be seen in the permanent exhibition “Mondrian & De Stijl” at the Kunstmuseum.

This exhibition shows how Mondrian evolved from a talented landscape painter into a pioneer in abstract art.
