8Cinque Terre

Although not a region in the traditional sense, the Cinque Terre comprises five picturesque fishing villages perched on the cliffs of the Italian Riviera. 

These colorful villages—Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore—are connected by hiking trails that offer some of the most spectacular coastal views in Italy.
