3Cape Tribulation, Australia

Located in northern Queensland, Cape Tribulation is a remote and stunning beach where the rainforest meets the reef. But beneath its beauty lies a series of dangers.

The waters are inhabited by box jellyfish, whose sting can be fatal, and saltwater crocodiles, which have been known to attack swimmers.

The beach is also located near the Great Barrier Reef, which means the waters are home to several types of dangerous marine life. Stinger nets and warning signs are placed along the beach, but swimming here is still risky, especially during the summer months.
