4Ribe, Denmark

Ribe is Denmark’s oldest town, and it feels like it hasn’t changed in centuries.
With cobblestone streets, timber-framed houses, and a   majestic cathedral dating back to 860 AD, Ribe is rich in Viking history. It also lies close to the Wadden Sea National Park, a UNESCO site known for birdwatching and seal safaris.
