Why it’s safe: Vast territory, rich resources, and relative neutrality.
While Canada is a NATO member and close ally of the U.S., its sheer size, sparse population in the north, and abundance of fresh water and natural resources make parts of it safer in times of global conflict. The northern provinces and remote regions would be less likely to be affected by targeted attacks, and Canada’s diplomatic global reputation is generally favorable.
