Bordeaux is France’s largest wine growing region with vineyards covering a massive area of 4800 hectares. Red Bordeaux is a red wine that is always made from blending cabernet sauvignon and merlot together.

When you are tasting the reds it will be the balance of these two wines that bring out the distinctive taste of each estate, and a lot of that is based on their location near the Gironde estuary.
