1Château de Chambord – Renaissance Dream Castle
The Château de Chambord is one of the most spectacular castles in France. Built during the Renaissance, it was originally intended as a hunting lodge for King Francis I.
Its distinctive architecture includes elaborate towers, symmetrical façades, and a famous double-helix staircase believed to be influenced by Leonardo da Vinci.
Surrounded by vast forested grounds, Chambord looks like something out of a fairytale and remains one of the Loire Valley’s greatest treasures.
