Australia’s vast interior and relatively low population density make it a potential refuge in a worst-case scenario. While major cities such as Sydney and Melbourne could be strategic targets, much of the country consists of sparsely populated regions far from global conflict zones.
Australia also has strong agricultural production and abundant natural resources. Remote areas in Tasmania or inland regions would theoretically be less vulnerable to immediate fallout compared to heavily industrialized parts of the Northern Hemisphere.
