The Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg is the definition of a classic German Christmas market. Each year, the Christkind—an angelic figure dressed in white and gold—opens the festivities. 

The market square fills with the scent of grilled sausages, roasted almonds, and the city’s famous Lebkuchen (gingerbread). Visitors can browse over 180 stalls offering traditional ornaments and toys. The medieval setting and festive choir performances make Nuremberg one of the most atmospheric markets in Europe.
